| This is the web guide to UK museums and galleries. It includes a huge range of information, not just on permanent exhibitions but also on temporary displays and educational events. Includes a curriculum finder to search the online database for relevant material and events. | An amazing site with an enormous range of information. Easy navigation allows quick and simple access to materials via a number of different routes. The only downfall is that the final information is never that extensive - perfect for initial research though. | This site presents itself as an awesome and ever growing resource for history. To a certain extent this is true, although the interface and navigation is often unwieldy and confusing. This aside, some very useful timelines (hyperlinked with images and information) are available. | |||
