This American website is fast becoming an excellent teaching resource with lots of interesting ideas posted. The site also includes an excellent collection of Professional profiles where people from organizations such as NASA detail how mathematics is important in their work. The Math Forum, an online community funded in part by the National Science Foundation and hosted by Swarthmore College in the United States, has been built with the contributions of math educators and interested volunteers. It is also host to the excellent Dr Math site. Mathslessons offers lesson plans, tutorials and assessments for level four and upwards. The resource bank is indexed by National Curriculum level and invites contributions.

The Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching is one of the few academic institutions to grasp what potential the internet offers by way of sharing good practice. Download superb free teaching materials, tests and puzzles.
Ask Eric

Ask Eric is a huge United States based Teaching Materials Database. To use this site you will need to understand a little about their teaching system:-

Ages 5-11 = Kinder.-5th grade
Ages 11-13 = 6th-8th grade
Ages 13-18 = 9th-12th grade

Exploring Data
Exploring Data site has a host of resources for teaching statistics. Note year 8 in Australia is the equivalent of our year 7, year 9 the equivalent of year and so on.
