Pilot
study Opportunity
FREE Site licence available for open
ended cross curriculum creativity software
Thanks to our friends at LCSI in Canada we are able to offer
a superb opportunity to take part in a pilot study for two TAG
products, MicroWorlds EX and MicroWorlds JR. Successful schools
will receive a site licence of one of the products plus one
day’s training FREE of Charge.
MicroWorlds
JR for Primary Schools
MicroWorlds JR allows KS1 and KS2 pupils to create their
own on screen environments and add objects that they can
control using sequences of LOGO-based iconic instructions.
With its simple, point and click interface and comprehensive
audio help, MicroWorlds JR is ideal for pre-readers and
beginning readers involved in control and modelling. MicroWorlds
JR also includes a full range of turtle graphics providing
children with opportunities to explore mathematical ideas
such as number, geometry, patterns and movement. |

MicroWorlds EX for Secondary Schools
MicroWorlds EX is an open ended LOGO programming environment
in which pupils can explore and test their ideas as they create
science simulations, mathematical experiments, interactive multimedia
stories, and build any kind of concept based exploration. MicroWorlds
EX offers a perfect introduction to the basis of programming
using an easy to learn and robust language (LOGO) that was designed
for education.
